SOLOMON Islands Postal Corporation (SIPC) yesterday officially launched its new online financial payment platform called Ezi-Pei.
Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare launched the new service.
This means customers registered with Ezi-Pei will be able to buy their water, power and other services and products using their mobile phones..
Solomon Island Postal Corporation CEO Alfred Ghemu said this payment system will make it convenient for citizens to pay their bills at the comfort of their homes or elsewhere.
Ezi-Pei is the only mobile wallet in the Solomon Islands that allows you to send money, receive money, pay salary and bulk distributions, top- up your airtime and pay for electricity and water wherever you are on smart or feature phones from all mobile networks in the country.
This new service will greatly reduce payment risk, improve cash flow and provide our customers with flexibility in their water management.
