FIFA President Gianni Infantino on Friday hosted Solomon Islands Football Association (SIFF) President Donald Marahare at the FIFA headquarters in Zurich.
President Marahare was on special visit to Zurich when he met Infantino for a brief discussion.
A statement issued by High Park Communications Media Team said, FIFA President Gianni Infantino has posted on his social media account about Friday’s visit by Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) President Donald Marahare to FIFA headquarters to Zurich.
In a statement Infantino said, he was pleased to meet Marahare after their last encounter in August 2024.
“I was pleased to welcome Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) President Donald Marahare, following our meeting last August, to FIFA’s headquarters in Zürich.
He said, President Marahare reflected his people’s passion for football.
“I thank everyone at SIFF for positively interacting with FIFA’s development initiatives namely FIFA Forward, FIFA Football For Schools and the FIFA Talent Development Scheme.
“We look forward to continuing our collaboration to make football a tool for young girls and boys to realise their dreams,” the FIFA President concluded.
