Round five of the South Australia Football National Premier League (NPL) and State League One kicks off starting today, Friday with five Solomon Islands soccer players ready to feature for their respective clubs in Adelaide over the weekend.
First up is national defender Javin Wae’s Campbelltown City facing Adelaide Comets 7:30pm Adelaide time in the South Australia NPL level. The former Central Coast defender in the Solomon Islands top league had not featured for his Adelaide-based club last weekend in the Hahn Australia and Federation Cup after nursing a slight injury.
If Wae returns to the line-up today, his club will face Comets who are currently second in the SA NPL ladder with nine points whilst Campbelltown City are ninth on the table.
Micah Lea’alafa of Adelaide Vipers will be facing South Adelaide in the State One League tomorrow Saturday 5th April, 2pm local time. Vipers are currently ninth on the table with four points while their opponent sits at the bottom on 12th with only one point after round four.
Junior David and his club Croydon FC are determined to perform well against Para Hills Knights in another SA NPL competition featuring the national defender. Croydon FC is currently in 10th position with three points in the SA NPL league table while their opponents, Para Hills Knights are fifth with seven points. Following their victory last weekend in the 2025 Hahn Australia and Federation Cup round four knockouts, Croydon FC are looking to make it a back-to-back win. The match kicks off 3pm local time on Saturday 5th April.
Defender William Komasi’s Adelaide Cobras will take on Sturt Lions on Saturday 5th April 4pm at Karinya Reserve in the Adelaide Hills in another SA State League One competition. The Lions are leading the SA State League One table with 12 points having won their past four matches. Adelaide Cobras had won one, drew one and lost two so far.
Finally on Sunday 6th April at 3pm local time, Rovu Boyers be facing Salisbury United with his club West Adelaide also known as the Hellas. West Adelaide is currently third in the SA State League One table with seven points while their opponents, Salisbury are seventh with six points.
Wae, Lea’alafa, David, Komasi and Boyers are currently playing in the South Australia Football League NPL and State League One level since arriving in Australia in January 2025.
