THE Solomon Islands Red Cross Society (SIRCS) has recently provided road signages to the Florence Young Christian School.
The signages are to ensure drivers slow down when approaching the road in front of the school entrance so as to allow students safe crossing by students.
Deputy Principal, Paul Marite, thanked SIRCS on behalf of the school when receiving the signages.
“On behalf of the school, I would like to say thank you the National Society for giving us these important stop signs.
“Ours were old and could not be used anymore and that was why I have asked the Secretary General [SIRCS] for these. These signages will now be used to ensure students are safe when crossing the road to and from school,” Mr Marite said.
