FORMER Malaita Premier and current Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) for Ward 5 in West Baegu/Fataleka has passed on.
Late Hon. Daniel Suidani was called to rest on Tuesday morning 21st October 2025 at the National Referral Hospital (NRH) in Honiara.
His passing was announced by his Advisor Celsus Talifilu in a statement issued via social media just after 11am, Tuesday.
In a public announcement, he said;
“Passing of the Late Hon. Daniel Suidani, MPA for Ward 5, West Baegu/Fataleka.
“It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Honourable Daniel Suidani, Member of the Malaita Provincial Assembly for Ward 5, West Baegu/Fataleka, who passed away this morning at the NRH,” he said.
Further details regarding funeral arrangements and official commemorations will be announced in due course, he concluded.
Many who have known the former Malaita leader have expressed their condolences to Late Suidani’s families and relatives.
