The former Minister of Foreign Affairs Clay Forau Soalaoi has launched the Solomon Islands National Development Foundation (SIDF) at a dinner organised by the National Transformation Party of Solomon Islands held (NTPSI) at Kingdom Harvest Ministry.
Speaking at the launching last Saturday, the President of SIDF Forau highlighted the importance why NTPSI introduced such foundation.
Mr Forau said the vision of NPTSI is to provide a platform for nation building.
“We see NPTSI as a vehicle to transforming and equiping people for the task of nation building.”
“SIDF is a Non-Government Organization formed under NTPSI to train the human resource of this country.”
President said NTPSI recognised the greatest resources of this country are its people. SIDF is serious to train locals to become high skilled workforce.
SINDF will be an avenue to respond to the needs for training, capacity development and skills training.
“I encourage Solomon Islanders to find your place in the work of SINDF. As NPTSI move forward it needs more human resources to execute its purpose and vision.
NPTSI plays an important role to empower locals to rise up to a level that they can build this nation to become vibrant in its economic development just alike with developed nations around the world.
