MINISTER for Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development (MEHRD), John Moffat Fugui has urged education authorities, stakeholders, communities and parents that they have equal roles to play.
Mr Fugui said that government will provide direction and assistance to progress education as desired.
“To progress education desire and visions, the document also rests on school leaders, principals, head teachers, communities and parents,” Minister Fugui said.
He added that through this working together, children will benefit from the new action plan and framework.
MEHRD’s permanent secretary (PS) Dr Franco Rodie further explained that new documents has set three important goals.
“It will improve access to education at all levels for children and adults, improving quality of education and to manage resources made available at the school, education authorities and government level,” Dr Rodie said.
The PS said he wants to commend the ministry team for developing the new strategic action plan that was launched Friday at Mendana Hotel.
