The Henderson HammerHeads Rugby Club is gearing up preparations after accepting the challenge for the Fletcher Kwaimani Man Up Rugby Challenge, a 15s Rugby Union Tournament.

“We are focusing on getting the boys in shape and upping the fitness levels to be ready for 80mins of Rugby.
“We have a good mixture of seniors plus national players and rookies for 2016.
“Our senior boys are fully focused on taking the leading role and deputizing our new boys into the game.
“We will be ready when the time comes to take the field and we look forward for some great games of rugby,” HammerHeads Phillip Campbell said.
The tournament will kick off on April 9th is the confirmed date for the event to kick off at the DC Park Rugby Field, Henderson.
First Game will be at 1:30pm and the second starts 3:30pm.
All are invited to come out and watch the games at DC Park, Henderson.
The tournament is made possible by the Fletcher Kwaimani Joint Venture Group and the HHH Rugby Club Events team.
Four teams have accepted the challenge and will see who has what it takes to become champion.
This is a four weeks short tournament; therefore, every game should be treated as a final.
With Fletcher Kwaimani as the main sponsor, prize money will be up for grabs for all teams.
Curtain raiser match will be scheduled to kick start the tournament as well.
Meanwhile organizers say a major HHH 7s Rugby Tournament is the next to take place but details are yet to be confirmed.
