The RSIPF Police Traffic Unit conducted two major traffic check operations on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 March at Central Market area and Rove Police Head Quarters.
The two operations stopped and checked more than 370 vehicles, 14 of which were detained and charged with offences related to unlicensed vehicles and other related offences.
The public are urged to renew their motor vehicle licenses on expiry and ensure the vehicle parts are in a road worthy condition. More random traffic checks will be conducted in coming days.
