The Honiara Table Tennis Association (HTTA) has successfully held its award night 2025 on Thursday at the Multipurpose hall in Honiara Honiara.
The award night was held to recognized the outstanding achievements of its players and teams. The event saw the winners from various categories in their recent championship received medals and certificates.
The award night presentation features all competitions and tournaments for this year 2025 where all the 12 winners walk away with medals certificates.
The event was attended by the second secretary to Australian High Commission office in Solomon Islands Mr Samuel Cox, Team Up Gender and Disability Inclusion Specialist Rosika Deo and Team Up country coordinator for Vanuatu and Solomon Islands Daisy Sipiti.
Cox in his remarks acknowledged the HTTA board and Coaches, for delivering such changing live program through sports.
He highlight that Australian Government is very happy to help and support sporting activities and program that gives quality life to people in Solomon Islands, a region, where young girls and women and persons with disability can freely participate. “Australia is Solomon Islands Nabawan sport partner and friend”, Cox said.
