Dear Editor – Human rights are the foundation of justice and equality, yet several communities in our area still suffer discrimination and deprivation of fundamental freedoms.
Inequality of genders, violence, and restricted access to education are still impacting youth.
As a USP student, I think it is critical that these problems are addressed with speed. One of the solutions is that the government and civil society work together to organize awareness campaigns and enhanced enforcement of laws concerning human rights.
It safeguards the rights so that all individuals are treated with respect, dignity, and equity that is needed for a peaceful and just society.
Yours sincerely,
