Ifira Blackbird Football Club (IBBFC) members are now in Honiara ahead of next week’s Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) Champions League (OCL) 2025.
The team arrived on Sunday ahead of the competition which starts next Sunday.
On Monday members of the team were spotted taking a stroll around the city.
The team is the reigning champions of Vanuatu.
The tournament runs from March 30 to April 12.
Ifira Blackbird FC is in Group B, along with Central Coast FC, Tupapa Maraerenga FC from the Cook Islands, and Hekari United FC from Papua New Guinea.
Group A features defending champions Auckland City FC from New Zealand, AS Pirae from Tahiti, AS Tiga Sport from New Caledonia, and Rewa FC from Fiji.
Other participating teams are expected to arrive in this week.
