There are claims more than 40 male students in one of the secondary schools in Choiseul province have injected their private part with the baby oil and other foreign substance.
And most of them are now in a state of distress for fear of losing their private part after they started to experience complication.
The revelations came after medical officials in Western Province last month warned about the dangers of injection their private part using the foreign substance.
In an exclusive interview with one of the students who is now bearing the pain and consequences from the injection, he said, that the practice has been going on since last year.
He said, the practise was introduced at the school by some transferred students from a school in Western Province.
He explained the process involves injection of baby oil and foreign substance known as silicon into their private part.
“Firstly, we massage our private part, making sure it was ready, and we fill 2ml (millilitre) of baby oil into a syringe before injecting it,” he said.
He said, sadly most of the students want to increase the size without knowing the dangers of this substance.
The student further claimed the injection was administered by male students in the school.
He highlighted that changes are now occurring on their private part which include severe pain, swelling and formation of hard lumps.
While the practice often involves young youths, reports also revealed that old age males were also injecting their manhood using the same substance and process.
The victim said, most of students who are now carrying the pain are now seeking herbal and custom medicine for treatment instead of reaching out to local health authorities for treatment.
At this stage there are no reports of serious cases of amputation from health authorities in Choiseul province.
In Noro, similar situation is also happening where in worse cases, the male private part was amputated.
Several medical and health officials are warning male youths from undertaking such risky process.
