There are claims the newly sworn-in Minister of Rural Development (MRD) David Gina rejoins the Coalition Group at Xaio Hotel in Henderson.
In a photo circulating via the social media on Monday morning, Hon. Gina was sitting with some of the Members of Parliament [MP] from the Coalition and Opposition Group.
Hon. Gina was sworn-in on Sunday evening at the Government House.
Prime Minister Jeremiah Manele who witnessed the ceremony has welcomed him into the regime over the weekend.
The ceremony officiated by the Governor General Sir David Tiva Kapu.
One of the Coalition’s associates is claiming Gina is back at their camp and is expected to resign from GNUT.
MP for East Are’Are also met Hon. Gina on Monday morninng. In a statement he said; “It was great to catch up with colleague Hon. Gina MP for South New Georgia Rendova and Tetepare today.
“I respect his decisions. He is a national leader. But it was great to see him back all the same. The journey continues.”
Following the social media post of the photo there were mixed reactions to it.
Others claimed he is rejoining the coalition. Some said, he was just visiting his former colleagues.
One said, the photos are old ones.
