THE touring reggae hit maker J Boog was impressed with the reggae cover of Adele’s ‘Hello’ sang by local female artist Rosie Delmah and Jamaica’s Conkarah.
J Boog told the local media in a press conference after his arrival on Tuesday, that he has not heard any song from artists in the country but only happened to see the music video.
“I did see the video, great job!
“That little girl was woo….dope. Really powerful voice too,” J Boog said while congratulating Conkarah for the fine job.
Sharing his thoughts of view about the duet and how it is making hits overseas, Conkarah said that it was just part of his motion to promote Pacific islands artists to the world.
“I’ve always wanted to play my part to expose raw talents from the Pacific islands.
“When I first heard Rosie singing, I was really happy to go on a track with her because I knew that the song will be well, you know.
“She was just 16 now, you know. I got instant Goosebumps when I first heard her sing,” Conkarah uttered these with his upright Jamaican accent.
Conkarah said, now that the song and music video is famous worldwide, he said everything now turns bright and everybody is talking about the Solomon Islands.
