KOBITO one chiefs in east Honiara will continue with their by law awareness talks to the people this week.
In a statement on Monday said that they are working hard so that people can abide by those laws to safe guide the community.
“So far chiefs we have finished zone one, two and three and we will continue on until the end of this month,” the statement said.
“The by laws are mainly to control the behavior of the people in the communities to ensure that everyone was safe and comfortable at their homes.”
Chairman for Gilbert Camp house of Chiefs Frank Robolite’e said that this is a challenging task but they must do it.
“I know that it will not easy but let us not forget our roles to control the communities,” he said.
He urged the Kobito one house of chiefs to put their head ups and perform their job.
“Just make people aware of what you will be doing in the community with by laws.”
He said that even though Government Support may slowly come, but I encourage the community to work together to maintain law and order in the community.
“Let us move forward for the betterment of our societies and communities.”
