KOSSA Football Club (FC) has officially confirmed its 25-man squad for the highly anticipated second round of the 2025 S-League season.
Head coach Franco Ne’e has made seven new additions to the team, with four players scouted from last month’s Solomon Cup competition.
These inclusions are aimed at bolstering KOSSA’s title ambitions as they look to maintain their strong form from round one.
Among the notable new signings are former Solomon Warriors and Nadi FC striker Jaygray Sipakana, and former Nadroga FC forward Steward Toata, both expected to boost the club’s attacking firepower.
Mathew Maelasi, a standout midfielder from Western Tomoko, also joins the squad, along with David Takayama, who follows in the footsteps of his father by joining his dad’s former club.
In a major boost to the midfield, Marcus Chan, formerly based in Europe and recently captained Renbel Ibis, returns to top-tier domestic football after more than six years.
Another exciting additions are young defender Solo Daudau, a product of the Henderson Eels Academy and featured for Honiara Warriors in the recent Solomon Cup competition, and former Malaita Eagles captain and Kossa Player Andrew Rarangia who returned to the S-League scene.
Currently sitting top of the league standings and with one game in hand from the first round, Coach Ne’e is determined to guide his boyhood club back to championship glory in the Solomon Islands’ premier football competition.
