National Futsal squads head into online training

THE country national Futsal men’s team, Kurukuru is currently engaging in online training sessions to help maintain their level of fitness as part of their preparation for the FIFA Futsal World Cup in Lithuania next year.
Team captain, Elliot Ragomo told Star Sports yesterday that they are using the INNOVA online training program which mainly focuses on the strength and conditioning of athletes.
He said the program has kept all players busy during the Coronavirus (Covid-19) period at the same time helps them maintain their strength and fitness.
“We were advised to do the online training program during this Coronavirus period.
“This is to continue our training in strength and conditioning.
“Even though we do not come together for team training, all players are kept busy doing this online training program.
“These training are the fundamentals and foundations of how the trainers and coaches want all players to become,” he said.
The online program is called INNOVA.
INNOVA is a Bay Area personal training company focused on helping others achieves their health and fitness goals.

Kurukuru is preparing for their FIFA Futsal World Cup participation.
They made history again by qualifying for their fourth FIFA Futsal World Cup appearance after defeating New Zealand in last year’s OFC Futsal Championship.
