The Lauru Kuvojos, Choiseul’s senior men’s football team preparing for the 2025 Solomon Cup, has received a timely morale boost with the donation of a new set of soccer uniforms, thanks to the heartfelt generosity of Mr. Martin Circuit Polosokere and his family.
The new uniforms were officially received by the team manager on behalf of the Lauru Football Association (LFA) and the players.
In his remarks, Circuit said the gift came from the heart and encouraged the players to give their very best in every match — also from the heart.
“This is a family contribution. We believe in the spirit of giving, and we hope these kits remind you that you have supporters behind you. Play with pride, discipline, and heart,” said Circuit.
Receiving the donation, Team Manager Tony Wrightson thanked Circuit and his family for their timely support, emphasizing that such acts of kindness go a long way in motivating the team.
“Support like this brings positive energy to the group. It’s a morale booster not just for the players but for the whole management team as we prepare to represent our province with pride,” said Wrightson.
On behalf of the LFA Executive and President, sincere appreciation was extended to Circuit and his family.
“May God continue to bless you and your household for your generosity and care towards the Lauru Kuvojos,” the Executive noted.
Adding to the spirit of support, the South Choiseul Constituency Office has also responded to calls for support by donating a large Choiseul Provincial Flag to the team.
The flag, a proud symbol of identity and unity, will fly high with the Lauru Kuvojos as they march into the national tournament.
Team Manager Wrightson also expressed deep gratitude to Hon. Leokana and the South Choiseul Constituency Office for their continued backing of football development in the province.
“Thank you for always being there for us — your support uplifts us all. God bless Hon. Leokana, the SCC office, and our province,” he said.
With community support growing stronger, the Lauru Kuvojos are ready to carry the hopes of Choiseul into the upcoming Solomon Cup. United in heart, spirit, and uniform, they stand ready to give it their all.
