Director of aviation says the final inspection for the Lomlom runway will be done Sunday next week.
George Satu in an interview on Thursday said the final inspection of Lomlom will be conducted on Sunday followed by an official opening.
“I do know that parliament will dissolve next week but this does not stop me to do the final inspection.
“My team and I will go over to lomlom, Reef islands Sunday next week to do the final inspection,” Mr Satu said.
Lomlom airport is one of airports funded by the government with the support from aid donors.
