A HONIARA Magistrate has expressed his disappointment in the adjournment of most cases yesterday including custodial matters.
All matters taken carriage of by the Police Prosecution have yesterday been all adjourned because prosecutors were locked out of their office since Monday.
Principal Magistrate Jim Seuika said this has affected his trial diary as he was supposed to hear a trial yesterday.
Police prosecutors were locked out of their office since Monday due to rental dues.
As a result, some of them were not in uniforms and without case files on Monday and yesterday.
Most of the cases had to be adjourned for the next 14 days in which hopefully by then they will have access to their office.
