Malaita police say they are well prepared for the province’s 15 August second appointed day celebration in Auki
Provincial police Commander Alfred Uiga said they had been preparing for the past days ahead of the big day.
The police were expected to provide security as well as stage a guard of honour.
Uiga said they will be joined by some officers from Honiara to take part in the event.
“RSIPF in Auki and Honiara will join together for a parade to mark the great event on Friday next week.
“A parade is going to be held in the centre of Auki town,” he said.
