The Solomon Islands National U19 team – The Mamulas will be playing their final friendly match against Marist FC today at the Lawson Tama Stadium.
This is in preparation for the upcoming Oceania U19 World Cup Qualifiers which will be held in Suva, Fiji.
This match is set to kick off at 7pm following a HFA premier division match between KOSSA FC and Junior Flamingo FC.
The reason being for hosting this friendly at 7pm is to give the National U19 the feel of playing under the flood-lights as their first match and last match against PNG and Fiji respectively will be at 7.30pm under floodlights in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers in Suva, Fiji.
The U19 had played several friendly matches against some of the renowned football clubs in Honiara including their recent match against the Solomon Warriors.
Coach Menapi is not worried about the defeats to these clubs but focuses mainly on the strength displayed by the U19 squad against the clubs.
All football fans and supporters are urged to come out and support the young talents.
