A man accused of abducting a girl and raping her at West Guadalcanal will plea to the allegation on July 20 when he appears again in the Honiara Magistrates Court.
A committal hearing will be also conducted on that day.
The accused who cannot be named to protect the identity of the young teenage girl faces one count of abduction and another of rape.
He allegedly committed the offence at an area in West Guadalcanal sometimes this year.
The court heard yesterday that another suspect is still at large.
Jenny Namo of Public Solicitor’s Office represents the accused while Public Prosecutor Freliz Fakarii appeared on behalf of the Crown on Wednesday.
