The man accused of the murder of a man at Visale, West Guadalcanal last year has denied the allegation when he appeared in the Honiara Magistrates’ Court, Monday.
The type of committal hearing to be conducted on Paul Kapani’s matter will be made known in court on April 10.
That’s when the matter will return to the court again.
Kapini entered his not guilty plea to one count of murder before Principal Magistrate Ricky Iomea.
This is in relation to an allegation on 10 September 2016 at Vanahobuli Village at Visale.
Prosecution alleged he attacked the deceased in which he allegedly kicked his left side ribs resulting in the deceased to fall to the ground.
The deceased was rushed to the National Referral Hospital but had unfortunately died.
Clifton Ruele of Public Solicitor’s Office appeared on instruction of his colleague Stanley Aupai whilst Public Prosecutor Elizabeth Tito represents the Crown.
