TRIAL on the case of the three young men accused of the murder of a man at Vura 3, Honiara, in 2012 resumes in the High Court yesterday.
The hearing has been halted mid-way into the prosecution case early this year and had resumed before Justice Francis Mwanesalua .
Prosecution will be calling its seventh witness today and has one more to call before closing its case.
Manase Oso, Mara Kili, and another accused who was a juvenile at the time of the offending are facing one count each of murder.
They allegedly attacked a bus driver at Vura 3, Honiara on the night of April 2, 2012.
Prosecution alleged the trio attacked the deceased after he had an argument with the bus driver and another man known to the accused.
According to the autopsy report, the deceased died as a result of blunt trauma to his head.
Wayne Ghemu, Henry Kausimae and Hubert Fugui of Public Solicitor’s Office are representing the trio while Crown Prosecutor Augustine Aulanga appeared for the state.
