THE Australian Government through the Australia Solomon Islands Partnership for Justice (ASIPJ) is pleased to recommit its support to Seif Ples with a new grant agreement of SBD175,000.
The Australian High Commission said the support is to meet the increasing demand for service by the survivors of gender-based violence.
“This will help to strengthen the capacity of Seif Ples to meet the increasing demand for services by survivors of gender-based violence, such as crisis accommodation and medical support.
“Seif Ples works with the referral pathway of SAFENET to provide services to survivors, including access to justice,” it stated.
It said Australia is committed to working with the Solomon Islands Government in improving the lives of women, girls and people with disabilities in Solomon Islands.
Seif Ples is open 24 hours, 7 days a week for needed assistance.
