Anglican Diocese of Malaita has inducted a new parish priest for the newly Fau’ala parish in Central Kwara’ae, Malaita province.
Fr.Edmond Gauakalo is now the new parish Priest.
Hundreds of people, including priest within Keava region and some members of the Melanesian brotherhood from the Church of Melanesia witnessed the induction program.
Theme of the celebration was “Full filling the fullness of life in Jesus Christ.”
Anglican Diocese of Malaita Bishop Fr Sam Sahu during the occasion announced that Fr.Edmond has been dully appointed to the office to work as a parish priest for the new parish for Fau’ala parish.
He encouraged the congregation together to support the new parish priest in his work in the area.
Fr Sahu also reminded the Church workers in the area to support youths and encouraged them to take part in Church activities.
Fau’ala parish youths and Buma youths provided entertainment during the two days programe.
