Vassula Ryden has been recognised as a genuine prophet the world over who takes no profit whatsoever for herself.
This was a statement made by Terry Boyce in response to the letter published in this paper on Friday title “prophet or profit.”
Speaking to Sunday Star Boyce said that the article was seems to be criticizing the Charism on Ryden.
“We suggested that your readers find the truth by going to the website: www.tlig.org or www.tlig.org.au where renowned Theologians give their opinion on Ryden Charism.
“Even Pope Benedict XVI has approved of her writings,” he said.
Boyce said that even Fr. Rene Laurentin a Vatican expert on false seers and prophets, supports Ryden as a genuine prophet.
“Archbishop Franic has described her as the most important prophet in the world today,” he said.
He claimed that Cardinal Grech wrote an article in “inside the Vatican” earlier this year advising Catholics there was nothing for them to be concerned about in Ryden recent book, “Heaven is Real but so is Hell,” which was a No.1 bestseller on Barnes and Noble online in the USA.
“The Buddhists of Bangladesh have awarded Ms Ryden a gold peace medal three times for promoting peace and harmony.
“On the last occasion it was presented by the Prime Minister of Bangladesh.
“Ryden has presented also to Muslims and Hindus and they have participated in Pilgrimages with Christians,” he revealed.
He added that one of the chaplains to Queen Elizabeth II, Fr Gavin Arvenden, regularly attends and addresses true life in God events.
“Ms Ryden does not receive any fees, remuneration or payment of any kind personally. All monies raised are used to evangelize and to fund more than 30 “Houses of Mary” throughout the world which feed and educate poor children including 300 Buddhist orphans in Bangladesh.
“She’s (Ryden) now travelled to 81 countries which is Solomon Islands.
“Whilst here she announced that a house of Mary will be establish in the Solomons to assist those devastated by the recent floods and earthquake,” revealed Boyce.
Ms Ryden presentations in Brazil and India have attracted crowds in excess of 100,000 with 500,000 attending one event in the Philippines, he said.
