Origin Energy Solomon Islands Ltd with Island Enterprise are engaging in a three days road show in Taro, Choiseul province.
The road show started on Wednesday with the displays of various products offered by the two businesses.
Speaking to the Solomon Star from Taro, Origin Energy business development manager Beaver Biti said the show is part of their ongoing road show program for rural customers in Choiseul Province.
“The visit is part of visiting our rural customers and getting feedback from them in relations to the products we provide.”
Apart from the shows and educational talks during the day, there were night activities organised for the public which featured dancing competitions.
Mr Beaver said the show is also giving opportunities to customers to buy products at discounted prices for appliances such as double and single gas burners plus bottle gas.
The show has attracted hundreds of people living in and around Taro station and the nearby communities.
There were also demonstrations of decanting (transferring gas), how to refill a cylinder gas and the use of the Origin Energy gas products and stoves.
Islands Enterprise on the other hand also showcased most of its products and services.
They displayed agricultural items, electrical and lighting equipments.
There were demonstrations on the use of agricultural tools, seedlings, safety wares and solar panel sets.
