Residents and visitors in Gizo provincial capital of Western Province can now enjoy improved internet access following the availability of Our Telekom public WiFi services at several key locations around the township.
The initiative is part of Our Telekom’s ongoing efforts to make internet connectivity more convenient and accessible for communities in the Western Province.
Public WiFi access is currently available at the following locations in Gizo:
– Gizo Telekom Office WiFi Zone
– Gizo Top Hill WiFi Zone (Telekom Radio Hut)
– Jah Mountain WiFi Zone
According to Gizo Our Telekom users within these areas can connect by subscribing to Our Telekom’s Redhot WiFi Deals, which are designed to provide affordable data access for personal and business use.
“Customers can subscribe to the WiFi packages through the Telekom mobile application or by dialing *155# and selecting Option 5,” it said.
The Redhot WiFi packages available include:
$6 for 4GB of data
$10 for 8GB of data
$30 for 20GB of data
“All WiFi data packages are valid for 30 days from the date of purchase.
“Upon successful subscription, users will receive a username and password, which can be used to access internet services at any Our Telekom WiFi zone,” Our Telekom added.
The service is expected to support communication, education, business activities and access to online services, particularly for residents in and around Gizo town.
