OUR Telekom has supported the celebration of International Nurses Day in Auki, Malaita Province by sponsoring a set of mobile phones that were awarded to nurses for their outstanding work.
The event brought together nurses from both Malaita and Central Islands province to commemorate the occasion and recognize the dedication of healthcare workers.
A key highlight of the celebration was the presentation of awards to outstanding nurses for 2025.
Four nurses were each awarded a mobile phone, generously sponsored by Our Telekom.
Malaita Province Nursing Director, Richard Maegerea, congratulated the award recipients and praised their exceptional contributions to healthcare in the region.
“I encourage all nurses to continue their good work in serving the health needs of our communities,” Mr. Maegerea said.
He also extended his appreciation to Our Telekom and other businesses houses for their timely support of the event.
“We would like to sincerely thank Our Telekom for their generous donation of four mobile phones to be awarded to our outstanding nurses for 2025,” he added.
