Following an outcry from its customers nation-wide following changes to all its data plans, the board, management and staff of Our Telekom has announced a new revised data deal that is set to be unveiled next week.
In a statement issued on Thursday afternoon, it said, “to our valued customers, over the past few days, many of you have shared your concerns regarding our recently published prepaid mobile data plans.
“We want you to know that your feedback has been heard.
“We have taken your concerns to heart and are making further revisions that will offer better value.”
As of Wednesday next week this new package will be released.
“The new revised prepaid mobile data plans will be available on the 1st October 2025.
“We appreciate your continuous support and are always working to serve you better,” the statement.
The announcement has been received with excitement and acknowledgement by many customers who depend on Our Telekom for their data plans.
Since the change more than a week ago most members of the public and even the Opposition Leader have expressed concern over the changes in data plans.
Some customers have also switched to Bemobile network given its attractive data plans.
Bemobile this week also announced that most of its network in Honiara has been restored.They are also offering special packages.
Customers are now looking forward for Our Telekom new data plan packages.
