ALIGEGEO Provincial Secondary School (APSS) near Auki, Malaita province pageant show has seen a huge turnout from both the students and the public over the weekend (Friday) to witness the queen and king show.
This was part of the school’s fundraising drive to raise funds towards it’s the construction of a new Chapel building.
The show was held at the school’s dining hall which attracted hundreds of people who came out to enjoy their time watching the young girls and boys on the stage.
The show was divided into two categories, junior and senior. Forms one to three falls within the junior category while the senior category included forms four to seven.
The show was fun-filled as it brought so much fun to the spectators who could not stop laughing as the queens and kings displayed their talents on the stage.
APSS principal Robert Lafisi said that the show was the first of its kind for the school and it has attracted a lot of people.
He also thanked all those students who took part in the pageant show.
The show has seen form five students snatching the top prize of $200 cash for senior category and form three students in the junior category winning the top prize of $200. Other participants also received consolation prizes.
The show commenced around 9pm and ended around mid-night.
