THE Ministry of Public Service will deal with the petition by staff of the National Parliament against resigned clerk Taeasi Sanga and her deputy Florence Naesol internally.
This came after the staff demanded the government not to reinstate Mrs. Sanga and remove Mrs Naesol.
Permanent secretary of Ministry of Public Service, Nego Sisiolo said a petition that can lead to industrial strike normally has weight.
He said he did not see anything on the petition that will lead to any industrial strike.
As such, the permanent secretary said it is a matter that can be addressed internally.
Mrs Sanga and Mrs Naesol earlier told the Solomon Star they did not know what they have done wrong.
They said some of the matters raised by the staff were internal issues that can be addressed through the right procedures and not in the media.
The Solomon Star understands the government is advertising the post of Parliament clerk.
Mrs Sanga resigned to contest in the National Parliament Speaker’s election last year.
