AS the travel date for MV Fair Glory to make a special trip from Honiara to three ports in Western Province next Monday looms, passengers who are confirmed to travel are now paying up their sea fares.
Yesterday a number of people have started paying for their one way sea fare at the Fairwest Shipping Company Limited ticketing office in
Honiara.
The trip is expected to repatriate individuals, families, business people, sports group and those who have spent their holiday in Honiara back to their destination.
During the trip MV Fair Glory will only berth at Seghe in Marovo, Noro and Gizo.
These three ports have health facilities close by.
Passengers are eligible if they completed their two vaccinations and one negative swab test.
Upon arrival at their port, they will undergo a swab test again before disembarking.
Those wish to return to Honiara from Western Province can also join the return trip.
Some could not travel during Monday’s trip because they only took one jab.
Thus, it’s likely another trip will be organized again as many more people are rushing to get and complete their two doses before traveling.
