The Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) has facilitated the transfer International Transfer Certificates (ITC) of five Royals players and one G-Camp player, Langney Wanderers keen to sign to join their club.
SIFF Media Officer Simon Abana confirmed to Star Sports he received the request from English FA to release five Royals players and one G-Camp player which Langney Wanderers FC is keen to recruit.
The five Royal players are; Absolom WAWANE, Cromwell RONADO, Geoffrey LEMA, Jackson WALE and Samuel TOVOA while Ian Kalu is the G Camp player.
“We’ve processed the ITCs for the six players and sent it to English FA,’’ Abana said.
Star Sports understands Langney Wanderers Football Club is an amature club based in the Langney district of Eastbourne, East Sussex, England.
They are currently members of the Southern Combination Premier Division and ground share at Eastbourne Borough’s Priory Lane.
The club was founded in 2010 and plays in the 9th tier of English football.
Despite the six players were already released, Wanderers FC are yet to strike the deal with Royals to take them on board.
English FA and the Wanderers FC will soon formally decide and sign the players based on limited exemption rule for amateur players according the ITC request sent to SIFF.
The six local players were scouted from the Royals Academy team current in England led by founder of the academy Joel Konofilia.
Apart from processing the ITCs for the six players SIFF has wished the lads all the best of luck.
Meanwhile, news of the six players has set a fine basis for Solomon Islands football in in Europe.
