PRIME Minister Rick Hou arrived back Friday following his back-to-back state visits to New Zealand and Australia.
On arrival in Canberra this week, the Prime Minister and Madam Rachel were hosted by the Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull for dinner at his residence.
The following day, the Prime Minister was also given a ceremonial welcome and a guard of honour in front of the Parliament House.
The prime minister also held bilateral talks with Prime Minister Turnbull.
Both leaders discussed a number of issues which included the Tina Hydro, Labour Mobility Scheme and the undersea cable project.
The bilateral meeting was followed by the signing of the Landing Permit Agreement for the undersea cable project.
PM Hou also visited the Australia National University (ANU) and addressed the students and staff of the institution.
He concluded his visit with a visit to the Australian War Memorial.
PM Hou and Madam Rachel also participated in the laying of wreaths to honour the fallen Australian soldiers that also served under RAMSI.
