The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force at Honiara city, have responded and attended to 32 reports from communities around Honiara and apprehended 28 suspects, who were also charged and placed in side police custody over the weekend.
The suspects were arrested with multiple charges of offences committed on separate dates and places at Honiara. These offences include; malicious damage, demanding money, robbery, break-ins, going arm, domestic violence, driving under the influence of liquor and careless driving.
Police office broken in by intruder
Police at Honiara City are investigating an incident following a break-in at the Rove Police Head Quarters over the weekend.
Police alleged the incident occurred on Friday night which suspects had removed two laptops and a large some of hard SBD cash were removed from one of the office cupboard.
Police forensic officers had conducted its investigation into the matter and appeals to the public of any eye witness, who may have seen or know of the break-in incident.

Police investigate deaths over the weekend
Police are investigating three reported deaths incidents that occurred over the weekend.
Police are conducting three investigation cases relating to a fire incident which left a 7-year old boy deceased at Kaibia heights and following that, a body was also discovered floating at Mamana water area yesterday evening at Honiara and a 17 year old girl was found hanging at Ferakusia, Raho village, Malaita province.
Police is appealing to members of the public to come forward and assist its investigations.

Police arrested rape suspect at RAMSI Street
Police at Henderson have arrested a 23 year male person following a rape of a 20 year old female over the weekend.
The accused was arrested and placed in police custody for further investigation.
