COMMUNITY members of Burns Creek have praised the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) officers for conducting a Kwaso raid at the Kastom Garden area this week.
A report reaching this paper said a Police operation yesterday was successful when they raided few stalls at the area suspected of selling the illegal alcohol.
Speaking with one eye-witness Davidson Sepo, he said that more than 100 bottles of Kwaso and a container containing some marijuana rolls were also confiscated by the police in the operations.
He said the police have successfully raided the illegal Kwaso outlets.
“The operation was successful with the help of community members.
“This shows how we can work together to manage and reduce crime in our communities as well as our surrounding residences,” Sepo said.
He added that in relation to the Kwaso incident, a woman was captured by the Police.
Meanwhile, Mr. Sepo has made a call to the good residence of Burns Creek to work closely with the police in supporting the elimination of such illegal activities which will lead to trouble within the Communities.
