THE Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) will mount an operation for the next parliament sitting which commences next Monday.
Police Officers will conduct proactive patrols and do road checks in parts of Honiara City.
A good number of police officers will be involved in this parliament sitting. This includes Police officers from Honiara, Guadalcanal and Officers at Rove Police Headquarters.
Police are therefore appealing to the public to observe the upcoming parliament sitting with respect as they work to provide a safe and secure meeting.
“Let our parliamentarian leaders do their mandated obligation and kindly ask the business houses, schools and the good citizens of this country to do business as usual,” a statement from RSIPF said.
