A PRE-TRIAL conference will be held on Patmos Island arson case on April 30, in the Honiara Magistrates’ Court.
The hearing however, will be conducted only on two of the five accused namely Iro Asilaua, 22, and George Malua, 19.
Twenty year-olds Adrian Smith Malua and Ama Adomi together with George Asilaua, 22, are under warrant of arrest.
Police have not yet executed the warrant of arrest against them when the matter was brought before the court this week.
Crown Prosecutor Sirepu Ngava said she had contacted the Henderson Police but they have not yet executed the warrant of arrests.
She again contacted them last week but they were busy with police work due to the disaster that hit the country last week.
She suggested that the PTC be held on only two of the accused if the three accused are not yet arrested by then.
The five accused allegedly burnt down a house at Patmos Island at Lungga River mouth in east Honiara on February 4, last year.
They are facing charges of arson, wilful & unlawful damage, demanding money and criminal trespass.
Prosecution alleged they were angry with the complainant after suspecting him of having an affair with their widowed sister in-law.
It was alleged that the men went together to the island and burnt down the house made of bush material.
The complainant was not at home when the men arrived.
Lawyers from the Public Solicitor’s Office are representing all the accused.
