ONE of the resigned ministers from the Central provincial government led by Premier Selwyn Mapuli says the premier needs to speak the truth to the people of central province.
James Galini told the Solomon Star on Wednesday that they will bring up the motion.
“Yes we will bring up the motion against you Mapuli,” he said.
He said the reason why the three ministers resigned was simply because they have no confidence in his leadership.
“In your statement stating that your government is the best in history for the province is a total misleading statement.
“I want you to give an example of any national project you achieve for the last 18 months to show the people of Central that your government is the best in the history of Central province.”
Mr Galini denied Mapuli’s accusation that they resigned because they are after money.
“That statement is very misleading.
“We have no money but we go for the best interest of Central province and that is to see development happening in the province rather than sitting there and nothing happened.”
He said in politics no one is mature and no one is baby as he (Mapuli) had stated yesterday.
“I want to tell you (premier) that we are all politicians because we follow the same process thats why we end up here.
“You need to stop misleading the people of Central province as members of who are currently with you at the moment; one of them is deputy speaker.”
Mr Galini said at the moment they remain solid in their camp and are ready to move the motion next week when the assembly resumes.
Patrick Vasuni the mover of the motion said that move is in the best interest of the people of Central province.
