The Bishop of Gizo Diocese along with the congregation in Gizo celebrated the Palm Sunday at the main Cathedral, St Peter.
There was a great turning out from the parish, young and old who attended the Mass in preparing for the Holy week.
Bishop Luciano Capelli was the main celebrant and was assisted by Fr. Mario and Deacon Augustine, Kasiava.
In his homily Bishop Luciano Capelli sdb echoed the story of Jesus entering Jerusalem, and touching the hearts of the parishioners. The Choir was well sang by the youth.
Members of the congregation are looking forward for the main celebration this coming weekend.
