THE move by the Democratic Coalition for Change (DCC) government to reshuffle its Ministers was not influenced by personal interests, as alleged by some people, an insider from the Office of the Independent Group says.
Speaking to the media recently the insider told this paper that the swapping of Ministers portfolios are done with good intentions by the DCC government, to ensure corruption is wiped out, so that implementations of their development strategies and policies are undisturbed.
The insider responded to questions raised by curiosity filling public doubts, after the reshuffling of two ministers was followed by granting of a bauxite export permit for the Indonesian mining company.
“Normally Ministers they reshuffle according to their own likings, which is nothing to do with personal interest for personal gain,” he said.
“But since that the reason here is to clean up corruption then that is good,” the insider added.
He also said, that if the exchanges of portfolios are for good reasons to serve the interest of the people then let it be.
“We just have to read the pattern of their actions, so that we know they did the right thing in the best interest of the nation.”
