Officers of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) on Sunday afternoon mounted a full guard of honour to welcome the Prime Minister of Australia, Hon. Scott Morrison and his delegation when he touched down at the Henderson International Airport for the beginning of a two-day visit to Honiara.
Officers of the RSIPF will also tomorrow( 3 June 2019) welcome Prime Minister Morrison and his delegation with another parade when the Australian Prime Minister accompanied by his Solomon Islands counterpart Prime Minister Hon. Manasseh Sogavare, visit the Rove Police Headquarters.
Prime Minister Morrison will also lay wreaths at the Police Memorial Park in Rove at the HMAS Canberra and RAMSI memorials.
RSIPF is conducting an operation to provide security for the Prime Minister Morrison during his visit to Honiara.
