Solomon Ports has announced the winners of the 2025 Solomon Ports 69th Anniversary Speech Contest held on Wednesday 4th June.
In a statement issued by Solomon Ports Media, it congratulated Ms. Stella Maebiru of Selwyn College as winner of the Senior Category, who presented on the topic: “???????????????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????? 69: ???????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????? ???????? ???????????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????????????????????? ????????????????????.”
Ms. Hetina Pulu of White River Community High School (CHS) came out as the winner of the Junior Category.
Her speech is on: “???????????????? ???????? ???????????? ????????????????????????: ???????????? ???????????????????????????? ???????????????????? ????????????????????????????????, ????????????????????????????????, ???????????????????????????????????????????? ???????????? ????????????????????????.”
A total of 18 students from 10 schools participated in the competition, which was organised by Solomon Ports as part of our 69th Anniversary celebrations on Wednesday morning at the Unity Square.
The aim was to encourage students to research and reflect on the history, progress, achievements, and future aspirations of Solomon Ports—and to better understand the vital role the port plays in the development of our nation.
“We extend our sincere thanks to all participating schools for accepting the invitation and contributing to the success of this event,” Ports said in a statement.
