The 2025 Solomon Cup Organizing Committee is yet to release an official decision following a complaint lodged by Western Tomoko after their group match against Makira Ulawa Kakamoras on Monday, July 14.
In the match, which ended in a 4-1 victory for Makira, Tomoko raised concerns that Kakamora fielded four guest players one more than the maximum of three allowed under tournament regulations to in the field.
If Tomoko’s complaint is upheld, they will advance to the semi-finals as Group B runners-up behind Kakamora, with Lauru Kuvojo eliminated on goal difference.
An official statement from the Solomon Cup Committee is expected in the coming hours.
