The Solomon Island Victoria Association (SIVA) in Australia handed over $10,000 Solomon Dollars to the Malaita Christian Care Centre, represented by Sister Doreen and Sister Anna over the weekend.

The funds were raised through raffle ticket sales and generous donations from the Solomon Island community in Victoria and other parts of Australia.
The Association was deeply touched by the stories, struggles, and future plans of the Centre, which provides vital care and support for women and children in need. Inspired by their mission, the community came together to contribute toward strengthening the Centre’s ongoing work.
This fundraising effort highlights the strong bonds of the Solomon Island diaspora across Australia and their commitment to making a meaningful difference back home.
