Sick patients of Tangarare mini Hospital were glad to receive goods from the Catholic women of Kukum Parish in the Archdioceses of Honiara last weekend.
Kukum Catholic women’s group last weekend presented the mixed goods to sick patients of Tangarare mini Hospital.
The goods presented include a 20kg Sol rice, 12 tins of Solomon blue medium taiyo and 12 packets of Mamie noodle.
Kukum Catholic women representative Mrs. Beverlyn Narasia said, what they offer is part of their women’s group organizing program.
“We have organized many programs including visiting the special disabilities, sick people in Clinics and what we offer to this Patients is part of the ongoing program of our women’s group.
“We used to visited sick patients at the local clinics and National Referral Hospital in the past months and now with this high chance we happy to visit and share gifts (goods) with the sick patients here in Tangarare mini Hospital,” she said.
Meanwhile recipients thanked the Kukum parish women for visiting the health centre with such charitable support.
“We really happy to see such support happen to us. Since we admitted we not see or expect any individual or group to come forward and offer such gifts of blessing but today we really live with the great blessing from this church group,” they said.
The women will continue to support sick patients in hospital and rural health centres as their ongoing program.
